The kids reveal the secrets of the sea....  People's rubbish threatens the junipers of the coastal dunes.

Art techniques and environment: eco collage

The 1st Kindergarten of Mournies used the technique of collage to  show us how to "Protect the Coastal Dunes with Juniperus"!!! Some of our masterpieces!

Hosting an expert to speak to us about recycling!

Our Kindergarten hosted an expert from DEDISA to talk with our students about waste management!Mr Vardakis, presented the work of DEDISA, answered to our questions and provided us with two indoors recycling bins: one for paper/plastic and cans and one for glass bottles or containers!

Recycling food waste to make compost

Μια μορφή ανακύκλωσης είναι η κομποστοποίηση.
Στον κάδο κομποστοποίησης  προσπαθούμε να φτιάξουμε λίπασμα για τα φυτά του σχολικού μας κήπου! Παράλληλα μειώνουμε την ποσότητα των απορριμμάτων  που καταλήγουν στις χωματερές ή ΧΥΤΑ!

Our ENVIRONMENTAL GLOSSARY

Καθόσον ασχολούμαστε με το project της Διαχείρισης των Σκουπιδιών, συναντάμε συνεχώς νέες λέξεις, που θέλουμε να μάθουμε τι σημαίνουν. Έτσι προέκυψε η ανάγκη να δημιουργήσουμε ένα γλωσσάρι για το περιβάλλον. Στο γλωσσάρι συγκεντρώνουμε τις λέξεις της κάθε θεματικής ενότητας που εξετάζουμε, σε σχέση με την αειφορία.   Το γλωσσάρι αρχικά είναι σε ηλεκτρονική μορφή  και έτσι μας δίνεται η ευκαιρία να επανεξετάζουμε τις λέξεις  μας και να προσθέτουμε νέες, με αλφαβητική σειρά. Στο τέλος κάθε ενότητας εκτυπώνουμε το επιμέρους γλωσσάρι της!
