Parents found their children's secret notes next to their drawing. The notes were directing parents to their chlild's favorite center or object in the classroom. Afterwards, parents wrote their own secret notes to their children and pinned them back on the board... All secret messages were revealed some days after, during circle time.
It was such a nice surprise for all!
